This really has nothing to do with the picture up there. I just like the picture. lol
Well, actually I guess it kind of does. I was looking at the Happy Weekend Sale list and there was a shirt that ties around your waist for 60L, super cute I might add… and it got me thinking about when I first started in Second Life (alll of three months ago haha) and I was so excited to get my first like… “real” clothes. Meaning, not free.
I saw a streamer talking about Blueberry in one of their videos (I think it was Ariellxo) and I decided to go there and check it out. I ended up buying a pair of jeans with a sweatshirt tide around the waist + a tank top – and I thought I was the shit.
Kind of makes me laugh now – since my inventory is jam packed with clothes from Blueberry, Belle Epoque, Beauty Factory, and other places… but at the time it was the coolest thing ever. (Let’s face it though, it’s still super cool.)
So, what does that have to do with the picture up there? Not a ton really, it just illustrates how far I’ve come in three months. It’s been a pretty wild ride already and second life has exceeded any expectations I had when I arrived at its rocky shores… a country girl destined for life in the big city.
Went to a Bayside Mall tour during a Meela Vanderbuilt stream today and it was a lot of fun – not something I can join in on all of the time because it was about three hours long lol but still fun every once in awhile.
Don’t ask me why her dress looked like that for me, it didn’t look like that in her stream… and I’m like super tiny compared to everyone that was there haha… oh well.
I am having a bit of an issue currently – I want to do EVERYTHING all the time and it’s really hard to limit myself to focusing on one or two things. There’s just so much going on all the time, I don’t understand how people can be bored in SL… I know people are like – I’ve been here forever, it gets boring… and I can’t really comment too much on that, because I’m still an SL baby… but to me that’s like saying you get bored irl (which I can’t possibly imagine and I’ve been irl a bit more than 3 months. Just a bit).
THERE’S JUST SO MUCH TO DO. I’m a bit overwhelmed.
